How to choose the right screw type chiller

2. Screw chiller selection should be based on the cold load and use to consider. For the refrigeration system with a long time of low load operation, it is advisable to select multiple-head piston compressor Group or screw compressor group for easy regulation and energy saving.

3. When choosing Chiller, the unit with higher performance coefficient is preferred. According to data statistics, the general chillers in the 100%-load operating time of about 1/4 of the total running time. The total running time of 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% load is approximately 2.3%, 41.5%, 46.1%, 10.1%. Therefore, in the selection of water chillers should be given priority to the efficiency curve relatively flat models. At the same time, the adjustment range of water chiller load should be considered in the design selection. Multi-head screw chillers have good partial load performance and can be selected according to the actual situation.

4. When choosing screw chiller, we should pay attention to the condition of nominal working condition. The actual cooling capacity of the screw type chiller is related to the following factors:

A. Cold water effluent temperature and flow rate;

B. Cooling water inlet temperature, flow rate and fouling coefficient.

5. When choosing screw chiller, we should pay attention to the normal working range of the model unit, mainly the current limit of the main motor is the current value of the shaft power under nominal working condition.

6. In the design selection should be noted: under the nominal operating flow, cold water outlet temperature should not exceed 15 ℃, air-cooled unit outdoor dry ball temperature should not exceed 43 ℃. If you must exceed the above range, you should know whether the scope of the compressor to allow the use of the main motor power is sufficient.
